Regular servicing is important for any car to keep them running smoothly. DeLoreans are no exception! The B28F engine fitted to the DeLorean (and many other cars) had an issue with the camshafts wearing due to small oil passageways that could block up or not supply enough oil to the camshafts once the oil started to degrade. Therefore it's very important that the engine oil is changed regularly. To avoid wearing the clutch packs in the automatic gearbox, the ATF and filter should be changed regularly also.
